Myonghyun Lee

人物介绍

Graduated from the Seoul National University College of Music. He is currently pursuing advanced studies at the Hamburg Hochschule for Music and Theater under Prof. Carolyn James. He has won at the 23rd Korean National Singing Competition in Seoul (2010, First Prize), the 29th Voice Competition in the city of Deagu (Korea, 2011, Grand Prize) and the 9th Seoul International Music Competition (2013, fourth prize). In 2013 he got 1st Prize at the Neue Stimmen International Competition in Gütersloh (Germany) and also 1st Prize at the 40th Luis Sigall International Music Competition in Viña del Mar (Chile). He has performed the roles of Alfredo (La Traviata) at the Seoul Arts Centre and Rodolfo's (La Bohème) at Seoul National University. In 2012 he gave a solo recital at the Kumho Art Hall in Seoul. He has given solo recital in Chile. He has sung tenor part in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with various orchestras in Korea and China. Recently he made Opera Gala concert in Japan.
