Born into a musical family. He studies at the Franz Liszt School of Music in Weimar under Prof. Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt. He has won several international competitions, among them the Grand Prix in the TONALi Competition in Hamburg (2012). He has a full schedule on tour. His recent milestones include débuts with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, appearances at the Berlin Konzerthaus, and performances at the festival in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) and the Yehudi Menuhim Festival in Gstaad (Switzerland). He has performed with the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Chamber Orchestra and the Irish Chamber Orchestra among many others. In 2012 he took part in the Kronberg Academy’s festival called “Chamber Music Connects the World” where he performed alongside Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, and Christian Tetzlaff.
Which people would you invite as guests to your dream dinner party?
Leonardo da Vinci. My family, relatives and friends - I see allthem too rarely.

To go forward, analyze the past.
Which person or people inspire you the most?
People with a bright talent.
If you were 80 years old, what advice would you give to young people today?
In order to realize your dreams: don’t be afraid and don’t be lazy.
What would you like people to say about you?
He is devoted to art.
How do you overcome the stage fright? / What is your ritual before going on stage?
I don’t think that it’s necessary to overcome the stage fright. If you haven’t got it before going on stage, it is a very dangerous signal.
When you perform... who are you playing for?
For everyone, including myself and the composer.
What job would you least like to do?
Any professions that don’t contain creative elements.
Is there a joke about musicians that you would like to share with us?
I know many jokes, but I can’t choose only one.

You are on a desert island and can bring only 3 items, what do you bring?
Cello, a suitcase with books and notes, good wine.
What is your favorite noise/sound? What is the most annoying noise for you?
My favorite sounds are natural noises you hear at night. Annoying sound - the sound of mobile phones during the concert.
