Biography

Professor at the Queen Sofia College of Music in Madrid and the International Piano Academy Lake Como (Italy). He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory studying under Alexander Goldenweiser. In 1955 was the victor in the Marguerite Long - Jacques Thibaud International Competition in Paris. Among his pupils are Dmitri Alexeev, Arcadi Volodos, Jonathan Gilad, and Plamena Mangova.
