Native of Perm. She graduated with honours from the Moscow Conservatory studying under Prof. Vladimir Ivanov. She has won prizes in several international competitions: the Robert Canetti Competition in Rousse (Bulgaria, 2008, first prize), the 5th Abram Yampolsky Competition in Moscow (2010, first prize), the 4th David Oistrakh Competition in Moscow (2010, second prize), and the 2nd Yuri Yankelevich Competition in Omsk (2011, third prize). In 2014 she came in second in the Russian National Music Competition in Moscow. She is a participant in festivals in Bulgaria, Italy, Bordeaux, as well as the first International Mstislav Rostropovich Festival in Orenburg among others. Since 2007 she has been concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory and since 2012 a soloist with the Musica Viva Chamber Orchestra.
Which people would you invite as guests to your dream dinner party?
I like dining with my relatives, and I will do when I have more time!
What is your favorite meal?
As they say, I like to have fun, especially to eat. Favorite dish - tasty dish!
Do you have a favorite motto or proverb that you live your life by?
Do what you have to do, and come what may!
Which person or people inspire you the most?
Inspiration - it is unpredictable, but I can be inspired by the people that I admire!
If you were 80 years old, what advice would you give to young people today?
To be happy, that their favorite day was every day, to be honest with themselves and with people and to learn to enjoy everything that The Most High will give them...
What would you like people to say about you?
If we listen to what people say, let them say it directly and acknowledge what they really think. It is if course pleasing to listen something nice...
How do you overcome the stage fright? / What is your ritual before going on stage?
The overcoming is often in vain. You should ignore it. It shouldn’t disturb you. Ritual… Make yourself want to play at the moment ... Is that a ritual?
When you perform... who are you playing for?
I play for the people who sit in the hall. They have come because they love music. I want to bring them pleasure. And to do that, I need to bring this pleasure to myself. If what I play makes them happy, or at least it raises the mood, then it is happiness for me.
What job would you least like to do?
These is no profession I don’t like. The lack of profession - that is a disaster...
Is there a joke about musicians that you would like to share with us?
I share with jokes on occasion. It is boring without it...
What's the "most played" non-classical track on your phone?
I Live You, Baby: Frank Sinatra.
You are on a desert island and can bring only 3 items, what do you bring?
Something to eat, a violin and computer that wont run out of battery. And some company!
What is your favorite noise/sound? What is the most annoying noise for you?
Favorite sound – good music. And annoying sound when somebody plays strings loudly and sometimes construction noises annoy me.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I'm fine where I am!
What is the first thing you think about when you hear the word Tchaikovsky?
It's like Pushkin, only he wrote music.
What is the first thing you think about when you hear the word competition?
I do not like this word, sorry...
