Biography

 

Bass, soloist for the Mariinsky Theatre. While still a student at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory he was invited to join the Academy of Young Opera Singers of the Mariinsky Theatre. He is a prize winner of the Maria Callas, Rimsky-Korsakov, Plácido Domingo and Elena Obraztsova competitions. His international début was at the Berlin State Opera (Hunding in Die Walküre, 2004). He is equally successful in opera and in concert performing on the foremost stages of the world.
