Biography

 

Artistic Director and conductor — Alexander Rudin.

 

The orchestra was founded in 1978 by violinist and conductor Victor Kornachev. In 1988 Alexander Rudin took charge of the orchestra.

One specialty of the orchestra is historically informed performances of music from the Baroque and Early Classical eras, along with performances of neglected works by Russian composers, and interpretations of compositions by contemporary composers.
