Studies at the Moscow Conservatory (2011 to present). In 2009 he won the 6th Competition for Young Musicians in Moscow, and in 2011 he won the main prize in the 1st Mario Fillioley International Competition in Siracusa (Italy). In 2014 he was a prize winner in the 3rd Leopold Auer Competition and Festival for Violin and String Quartets in Saint Petersburg. He was awarded a scholarship from the New Names Foundation and the Russian Performing Arts Foundation. He has participated in the Tchaikovsky’s Homeland Festival in Izhevsk, the Moscow Welcomes Friends Festival, and the Copenhagen Summer Festival. He has appeared in many of Moscow’s concert halls and has performed on tour in other Russian cities, Japan, Denmark, Italy, and China.
Which people would you invite as guests to your dream dinner party?
I think there wouldn't be enough seats in the restaurant for everybody.
What is your favorite meal?
All my grandma’s cooking. Especially pasties.
Do you have a favorite motto or proverb that you live your life by?
Audere est facere.
Which person or people inspire you the most?
Count Alexander Suvorov.
If you were 80 years old, what advice would you give to young people today?
don't listen to anyone!
What would you like people to say about you?
The very fact that they speak about me is a big compliment for me.
How do you overcome the stage fright? / What is your ritual before going on stage?
I want so much to perform that there’s no room for the stage fright.
When you perform... who are you playing for?
For the audience.
What job would you least like to do?
Is there a joke about musicians that you would like to share with us?
All horn players go to paradise after death, because the whole orchestra pray for them before their solos.
What's the "most played" non-classical track on your phone?
Seether – Roses.
You are on a desert island and can bring only 3 items, what do you bring?
GPS , blanket and pillow.
What is your favorite noise/sound? What is the most annoying noise for you?
The noise of the rain / music in the bus.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
In the tower of the main building of Moscow State University.
What is the first thing you think about when you hear the word Tchaikovsky?
“Fааа, mi-re-la, rе-mi-fa, si-sol-la, fааа, fа, sol, fa, mi.”
What is the first thing you think about when you hear the word competition?
A lot of my favorite works!
