Graduate of the Korean National University of Arts. He is continuing studies at the Munich University of Music and Performing Arts under Prof. Christoph Poppen. In 2011 he was victorious at the 41st International Youth Music Competition in Belgrade; he also was awarded prizes in the Isang Yun Competition in Tongyeong (South Korea) and the Leopold Mozart International Violin Competition in Augsburg (2013). He performs in the Novus String Quartet. This quartet has won a series of awards, such as in the 61st ARD Music Competition in Munich and first prize in the 11th Wolfgang A. Mozart Competition in Salzburg (2014). He has appeared with many well-known orchestras. He plays a violin made by Carlo Giuseppe Testore provided by the German Foundation for Musical Life.

Just enjoy your life.

How do you overcome the stage fright? / What is your ritual before going on stage?
Wash my hand and take a deep breath.
When you perform... who are you playing for?
I think it depends on which pieces. Sometimes for the composers, sometimes for me. sometimes for the audience...
What job would you least like to do?
Musician...?? When I was a kid I always wanted to be a soccerplayer.
Is there a joke about musicians that you would like to share with us?
No...
What's the "most played" non-classical track on your phone?
Unfortunately there is only classical music in my phone.

Water, candy bar, more water...?
What is your favorite noise/sound? What is the most annoying noise for you?
My girlfriends voice, of course! I hate my alarm in the morning.

Ballet... and Tchaikovsky competition.
