Summer is coming with a warm musical breeze on medici.tv! This unique event gathers a casting of operatic superstars for which all opera houses in the world would fight to have on stage: Anna Netrebko, Jonas Kaufmann and Thomas Hampson. They are joined by mezzo-soprano Elena Zhidkova, acclaimed for her performance of the most beautiful roles (Carmen, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Brangane in Tristan and Isolde) and the Russian bass Ildar Abdrazakov whose passionate voice, style and elegance remains unequalled among his peers.
This open air concert, a unique event in Europe, will take place in the exceptional site of Munich's Königsplatz, which boasts green spaces and monumental style giving a splendid frame to this summit of the operatic stars. They will perform classical masterworks, including a range of arias, duets and trios extracted from operas by Verdi, Puccini and Offenbach among others.
