Born in Krasnoyarsk. He has studied since 2009 at the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory under Prof. Alexander Sandler. In 2010 he won third prize at the 8th Paderewski International Competition for Young Pianists in Bydgoszcz (Poland). In 2012 he won the 3rd Maj Lind International Piano Competition in Helsinki, and in 2013 took the gold medal in the 6th International Prokofiev Competition in Saint Petersburg. He often goes on tour in Russia and abroad, and he gives solo concerts in Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, and Poland. He has appeared with the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra and the Svetlanov State Orchestra among others.

That is the charm of inspiration that you never know where to find it.
If you were 80 years old, what advice would you give to young people today?
Keep your eyes open for this inspiration, it is everywhere.
What would you like people to say about you?
I wouldn't listen to them. I would run away from people talking about me as soon as possible!
How do you overcome the stage fright? / What is your ritual before going on stage?
I don't overcome the stage fright, I panic at my pleasure. Before going on stage I make sure I've changed my shoes. I don't know if this can be considered like a ritual.
When you perform... who are you playing for?
For me and that guy.
What job would you least like to do?
Looking through my answers to this questionnaire, I can easily state that I don't want to be my own interpreter!

Favorite sound – sound of slightly detuned old piano. Annoying noise – my own voice.
